Friday rolls around again – the final Friday of February 2024! – and it’s been a crazy week here at ipXchange.
We started the week with some more coverage of CES 2024. On Monday, it was Valens and the new MIPI A-PHY chips, which simplify automotive data-line wiring by combining multiple signals on the same twisted pair. Then, we returned to our coverage of Monolithic Power Systems with some very highly integrated power modules.
As promised, on Wednesday we posted our chat with Nigel Toon about his new book “How AI Thinks”, which is a fascinating introduction to a very well-written explanation of the history and current state of artificial intelligence.
Finally, we shared an ipXperience with Carlos Morales, Ambiq’s Vice-President of Artificial Intelligence, where he and Eamon discuss how to implement AI in battery-powered edge devices and how to overcome the various challenges in doing so.
