Hagiwara Solutions presents an industrial-grade alternative to consumer-grade SSDs (Solid-State Drives) for external mounting – this has not yet been seen on the market, making for a possible World-first commercially available technology!

These SSDs enable engineers to swap and retrofit up to 4 TB of high-speed (up to 10 Gbps), high-reliability memory in punishing industrial applications where internal drives are impractical and consumer-grade devices will not suffice. A key deployment example would be a production line with many HD video feeds and sensors, where large amounts of data are processed in real-time and storage for later analysis is vital for ensuring efficient operation. Hagiwara Solutions’ new SSD is also the perfect device for retrofitting to systems shifting to higher-definition video feeds for AI-enhanced inspection.

Hagiwara Solutions guarantees long-term supply with fixed specifications, military-grade shock and vibration resistance, and guaranteed operating temperatures from 0˚C to 50˚C. Hagiwara Solutions’ integrated S.M.A.R.T (Self-Monitoring Analysis and Reporting Technology) system also supports a lifetime of predictive health monitoring to ensure your drive is always working as it should.

In addition to these certifications, the P500H-series SSDs offer additional robustness against shock and vibration through a screw-on USB cable (USB3.2 Gen2) and threaded mounting holes on the chassis. This means that you can rely on this drive’s integrity despite its external nature.

Hagiwara Solutions is currently developing prototype units for customer testing, with general release expected before the end of 2024.
