Scalable, low-power, and reliable flash memory for tomorrow’s embedded designs.
GigaDevice’s comprehensive flash memory portfolio, spanning both NOR and NAND architectures, is purpose-built for meeting the demands of modern embedded systems. Spearheading this lineup is the ultra-low voltage GD25UF series – 1.2V NOR flash memory engineered for battery-constrained devices.
The GD25UF runs directly off of a 1.2V rail, so external boost converters are not required. Engineers can achieve up to 35% reduced power consumption, extending battery life while maintaining performance. GigaDevice offers sizes up to 256 Mb – the GD25UF is built for storing boot code and enabling Over-The-Air (OTA) updates.
Outside of consumer electronics, GigaDevice addresses the demands of automotive applications such as autonomous driving systems through automotive-grade NOR flash memory, delivering reliability with Defect Per Parts Per Million (DPPM) rates of less than five.
When applications require higher densities in the GB range, customers can transition to use GigaDevice’s NAND flash offerings. Both NOR and NAND flash offerings use the same packaging and communicate over Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) – so memory modules can be swapped without board redesigns.
GigaDevice Flash Ecosystem includes reference designs with partners such as top tier SoC suppliers covering Internet of Things (IoT) and AI-enabled edge devices. Engineers can use these designs to quickly prototype and develop the next generation of devices which reduces time to market when OEMs launch a new product.
