The SiTime SiT1881Ae-L3-DCC-XX0-032.768 is a 32.768 kHz MEMS oscillator that comes in an industry-smallest 1.2 mm x 1.1 mm x 0.55 mm QFN package. The device is factory programmable down to 1 Hz and exhibits ±50 ppm frequency stability over the entirety of its specified operating range of -40°C to 105°C with a reliability specification of 2 billion hours MTBF.

The SiT1881Ae-L3-DCC-XX0-032.768 operates using a voltage of 1.14 V to 3.63 V and has an ultra-low power consumption of 490 nA (typ.). Able to drive multiple loads up to 100 pf, a single SiT1881 can replace multiple quartz XTALs, and the small size and operating characteristics save further board space as no load or VDD filtering capacitors are required. Load-dependent startup issues are also eliminated.
