TDK-Lambda i7C 300-W Non-Isolated DC-DC Buck-Boost Converters

Evaluation Board

ipXchange, Electronics components news for design engineers 310 310

TDK-Lambda’s i7C series of non-isolated DC-DC buck-boost converters provide a compact (34 x 36.8 mm, 1/16th brick footprint) solution for up to 300 W of output power from a wide DC input range of 9-36 V or 9-53 V, with minimal components required for integration into your design. Target applications include industrial, test & measurement, broadcast, and telecommunications, but the i7C devices are also great for designs requiring a regulated output based on a battery power supply.

Three output options are available with up to 97% efficiency in your choice of housing:

  • 300 W: 5-28 V output @ 12.5 A
  • 300 W: 8-24 V output@ 20 A
  • 300 W: 9.6-48 V output @ 8 A

-> Low-profile open-frame package
-> With baseplate for conduction cooling
-> With integrated heat sink for air cooling

When paired with a standard 12-, 24-, 36-, or 48-V DC supply, the i7C devices are an ideal DC-DC converter solution in space-constrained industrial designs. Additional optional functionality includes switching frequency synchronisation and output current monitoring.
