A new way to acquire data: Flexible, printed sensors that are only 0.4 mm thick

In another interview from Sensor+Test, ipXchange talks with Claus from Accensors about their flexible circuit boards for sensing applications. That seems rather disruptive!

As shown by the small robotic arm that originally drew us to this stand, these stick-on, printed sensors are an easy-to-install, low-cost, low-profile solution for physical, biochemical, and ion-selective sensing.

At first glance, these devices look to be very useful for medical wearables, but as Claus explains, the flexibility and minimal thickness allows Accensors’ devices to fit between automotive batteries for temperature monitoring during testing. This and industry 4.0 applications seem to be another great fit for Accensors’ devices.

As demonstrated, there is an evaluation kit available to test this innovative solution, so head to the link below the video to learn more about the full range of printed sensor options available from Accensors.
