At embedded world 2026, Digi showed how the ConnectCore 95 goes beyond a standard system-on-module.
The demo focused on a real-time AI inspection system that checks bread rolls on a conveyor belt. It uses built-in processing for video, AI inferencing, and pass/fail decisions. Developers can run workloads on the CPU, MPU, or add external AI acceleration for more performance.
What makes Digi stand out is the full solution around the hardware. The Digi ConnectCore 95 supports cloud services, remote monitoring, secure model updates, and over-the-air firmware updates. This gives developers a stronger path from development to field deployment.
Digi also highlighted Wi-Fi 6E, which helps in crowded environments such as hospitals, factories, and trade show floors. With more available spectrum, devices can achieve more reliable communication and better response times.
