The Move-X MAMWLE is a low-power, LoRaWAN-compliant radio module based on a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M4 processor with clock frequency up to 48 MHz and paired with up to 64 kB SRAM and 256 kB Flash.

Consuming just 0.255 μA in standby mode, the MAMWLE embeds a low-power sub-GHz radio for LoRa®, (G)FSK, (G)MSK, and BPSK in the 868 – 915 MHz band, with up to +22 dBm output power. Two on-board power amplifiers allow for maximum efficiency at different TX power (programmable with a step of 1 dB within 32 steps), and a high-quality 32 MHz TCXO and RF matching network guarantee stability during transmission. This module also features 37 GPIOs, a 15.5 mm x 16.5 mm package, and a huge set of peripherals – I2C, SPI, I2S, LPUART, USART digital interfaces, 12 channels of ADC, a complete set of low-power comparators and timers, and more. Thanks to the flexible pinout, all these features can be used simultaneously and multiplexed to optimise PCB routing. Antenna connection is provided through an on-board u-fl coaxial connector, so there is no need to deal with RF signals off-chip, though a 50-ohm pin is provided for your own antenna designs.

Produced in an Arduino MKR form factor, the Cicerone platform is perfect for evaluating Move-X’s MAMWLE device within tracking applications that need meter-level accuracy and long-range, low-power LoRaWAN connectivity. The second heart of this board is the u-blox MAXM10S, a professional-level GNSS device, and the board is also designed to extend the battery life of IoT asset tracking applications thanks to an on-board LiPo charging circuit and u-blox CloudLocate positioning.
