GigaDevice’s automotive-grade NOR and NAND flash memory devices are certified to the AEC-Q100 standard required for these deployments. These high-performance, high-reliability solutions are also well-suited for industrial applications due to their increased robustness against thermal shock, vibration, and unstable voltage. GigaDevice also provides long-term support for engineers looking to use their devices in a commercial application. Both families of flash memory are available in 3.3 V and 1.8 V versions with a defect rate of less than 10 ppm and 20 years of data retention.
The GD25 and GD55 NOR flash devices are available in 2 Mb to 2 Gb densities with an operating temperature from -40°C to +85/105/125°C, in a variety of packages, including automotive-qualified varieties. Additional features include ECC, DTR, H/W RESET, secured OTP, and unique ID, depending on the device, with operating frequencies up to 200 MHz (x8 DTR).
The GD5F NAND flash devices are available in 1 Gb to 4 Gb densities and have an operating temperature from -40°C to +105°C. These come in a WSON8, 8 x 6 mm package and feature a built-in 4-bit ECC and 2 kB page size. The GD5F family of devices features operating frequencies up to 133 MHz.
