This is the board page for the uSPa11 tactile sensor from XELA Robotics. Complete the short form below to obtain it’s technical datasheet.

The XELA Robotics uSPa 11 is the smallest tactile sensor module in the company’s uSkin range, designed for precise tri-axial force sensing in compact spaces. Measuring just 7 × 7.3 × 4.7 mm, this 1×1 taxel unit captures X, Y shear and Z normal force data with high sensitivity (0.1 gf resolution) and fast response (up to 500 Hz sampling rate).

It features a soft elastomer surface for compliant contact and overload protection, making it ideal for integration into robotic fingertips or grippers. The sensor communicates via a 4-wire interface to a separate uSmc microcontroller board, using I²C for sensor-level data and CAN bus for communication with a host system. Up to 10 uSPa modules can be daisy-chained to a single uSmc board, offering scalable tactile coverage for precision manipulation tasks in robotics and automation.
