This board page outlines the features of Alif Semiconductor’s AI/ML AppKit for testing the real-world application functionality of its Ensemble family of devices, which are based on combinations of Cortex-M55 MCU cores, each supported by an Ethos-U55 microNPU (Neural Processing Unit), and Cortex-A32 application processors.
Learn more about these devices in detail on the board page for the standard Alif development boards.
While the AI/ML AppKit does not feature breakout points for all pins of the Ensemble device, it allows users to immediately run high-level AI algorithms on battery power. Such workloads include sensor-fusion recognition tasks, natural language recognition, facial and object recognition, and more, with many application examples on the official GitHub.
In terms of hardware, the board features a 4-inch colour LCD, an integrated camera module with front-side and backside board connectors, PDM and I2S microphones, inertial sensors, and more.
