GigaDevice’s GD25WD family of Wide Voltage Range SPI NOR Flash devices features 512 kbit, 1 Mbit, 2 Mbit, 4 Mbit, and 8 Mbit* options with standard or dual output. These devices can be powered by 1.65-3.6 V and exhibit zero deep power-down and standby currents as low as 0.1 µA and a low active read current down to 5 mA at 50 MHz. A 128-bit unique ID functionality for each device offers enhanced security, and a wide operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C ensures useability across many environments. These devices are specified at a minimum of 100,000 program/erase cycles and 20-year data retention (typ.).
While the power supply is flexible, the chosen power influences the device’s maximum clock frequency. These devices are specified at dual output data transfer up to 160 Mbit/s using a 3.0-3.6 V supply – expect half of this for the lowest operating voltage. The memory is built as a flexible architecture with uniform sectors of 4 kB and uniform blocks of 32/64 kB.
GigaDevice’s GD25WD family does not have an associated evaluation board, but it can be provided as a sample in many packages including SOP8 150mil, SOP8 208mil, TSSOP8 173mil, USON8 3×2 mm, USON8 1.5×1.5 mm, and USON6 1.2×1.2 mm, as taken from the datasheet of the 512 kbit and 1 Mbit models. Please specify which option you would like to sample when filling out the form below, and GigaDevice will inform you of package options and additional specifications.
