NexGen’s Helios NL20S 20W LED Power Module leverages NexGen’s Vertical GaN technology to provide a compact module with twice the power density of industry-standard alternatives. The devices comes in a 2.09” x 1.26” x 1.0”, 363 g form factor with a power density of 7.6 W/in3.
Light output driven by this device is of high quality and flicker free with smooth dimming and dim-to-off capabilities. Metering and fault reporting or the integration of dimming protocols is easily enabled with the NL20S’ standard interface for configuration, control, and connectivity.
The NL20S supports a universal input voltage of 108 V to 305 V at 50 or 60 Hz and provides an output voltage of 24 V to 42 V (0.1 to 0.75 A ±5%) at 85% efficiency with a no-load power consumption of <250 mW. Capable of high switching frequencies, this design maintains a high power factor >0.9 with low Total Harmonic Distortion (<20%).
