Vincotech’s AC/DC modules are available in 2- and 3-level PFC topologies that feature SiC MOSFETs and fast IGBT chip technology for high-speed switching and improved efficiency, a Kelvin emitter for better switching performance, an integrated DC capacitor to reduce voltage overshoot, and a temperature sensor in a high-power, low-inductive package.
The 3-level topologies are recommended for engineers seeking higher efficiencies at lower costs. These include:

The 2-level PFCs are available in the following topologies and power ratings:

- 40-, 100-, and 150-kW half-bridge topologies
- 30-kW CSPFC (Current Synthesising PFC) topologies
Vincotech’s DC/DC modules are available in half-bridge configurations for the primary stage and rectifier-bridge configurations for the secondary stage to create a full-bridge resonant LLC convertor. Primary-stage SiC MOSFETs allow this topology to reach >100 kHz switching frequencies with a peak efficiency of >95.5%, using a benchmark of 25 kW @ 110 kHz.
As well as the standard Kelvin emitter for better switching performance, integrated DC capacitor to reduce voltage overshoot, and high-power, low-inductive packages – with various housing options available – these modules feature open or common emitter configuration.
The wide half-bridge module options include the following power ratings:
- 15 kW using 950 V SiC MOSFETs
- 10, 25, and 50 kW using 1200 V SiC MOSFETs
- 22, and 30 kW using 650 V fast IGBTs
- 22 kW using 1200 V fast IGBTs
The ultrafast rectifier-bridge module options include:
- 15 and 30 kW using 650 V SiC diodes
- 25 and 50 kW using 1200 V SiC diodes
- 15 kW using 1700 V SiC diodes
- 50 kW using 650 V fast diodes
- 30 kW using 1200 V fast diodes
