CUI’s PSK-20D series of encapsulated AC-DC power supplies feature a single 2 – 24 VDC output at 14 – 20 W. This is generated from an 85 – 305 VAC (universal) input to enable a compact power supply solution for low-power ICT, industrial, and consumer applications, including EV wall charging units. The PSK-20D devices come in a 52.4 x 27.2 x 24 mm board-mount package with a -40 to +85°C operating range. Additional rail- and chassis-mount versions of this device are available for less space-constrained use cases.
These devices meet 60601 medical safety standards, as well as 60335, 61558, and 62368 standards. A typical efficiency of 85% and a maximum ripple and noise of 150 mVpp illustrate the high performance of these devices. Protections for overcurrent, overvoltage, and short-circuit are also present in the design, which also boasts 4000 VAC isolation between the input and outputs.
More information and detailed specifications regarding these devices can be found in this datasheet.
The PSK-20D series are plug-and-play devices, so evaluation of this technology is done via samples.
